As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Vincent Loparco has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Decompression Therapy

1. What does Decompression mean?
When the spine has gravitational forces placed on it (like when we are standing) we call that compression. The body gets squished together and the spine and intervertebral discs take a lot of pressure. So "decompression" means pulling apart. This is where our machine will apply a gentle force and traction you apart so that we can take the pressure off your spine and intervertabral discs, making you feel better.

2. What is traction?
The term traction refers to the type of force used during a treatment. We have three modes in which we can choose from:
1. Static-a constant force applied, usually for a short duration.
2. Intermittent- alternating forces that range from maximum poundage to minimum poundage.
3. Cyclic-Tension that gradually increases and decreases and continuously repeats itself throughout the treatment.

3. Who can benefit from this treatment?
Decompression traction can be used on many people suffering with:
*Protruding Discs                 *Spinal Root Impingement
*Bulging Discs                      *Spinal Hypomobility
*Herniated Discs                  *Facet Syndrome
*Degenerative Disc Disease  *Compression Fractures
*Posterior Facet Syndrome  *Joint Pain
*Acute Facet Problems         *Discogenic Pain
*Radicular Pain                     *Old Spinal Fusion
*Sciatica                               *Knee Problems
*Carpal tunnel syndrome       *Shoulder Impingement
The success rate is between 70-85%. That's without unnecessary drugs or surgery!
